Not everyone in music is on stage. These two courses train the people who build careers: the managers, marketers and entrepreneurs, and the artists who want to run their own business.
Music Industry Business
How the music business works, and how to work in it. You learn to build and market a brand, network, pitch and get booked, and to handle the pressure of a creative career. Then you learn how the industry fits together: the key players, record labels, publishing, distribution, radio, copyright and touring, and the many ways money is made. Ideal for artists who want to manage themselves, and anyone starting out on the business side.
Artist Management
Guiding other people's careers. You learn what a manager really does: spotting and developing talent, shaping an artist's brand, negotiating contracts, managing money and royalties, planning tours and handling a crisis when it hits. You also cover publicity, fan engagement and the ethics of representing someone else. You finish by building a complete management plan for an artist.
2027 fees and payment plans. Pay the full fee 10 business days before your course starts to qualify for the free 20-image photoshoot. Monthly payments begin on the first 28th after your course starts. *Student loan estimates are over 48 months at 10% interest, including a 5% admin charge, subject to approval. Student loan eligibility and surety requirements are assessed by the finance provider. Any course can be completed privately at your own pace for an additional 40%.
